Your capacity to develop your client base and contribute to the firm's growth will be fully supported and encouraged.
We attach great importance to quality training, international experience, and foreign language proficiency. English is essential for handling some of our cross-border cases. Knowledge of other languages, including less common ones, is a real asset to strengthen our international outreach.
At Whitefield, we maintain a professional yet human working environment where listening, respect, and personal balance are fundamental values. We promote dialogue within the team, encourage initiative, and do everything possible for everyone to grow in conditions favorable to their fulfillment.
Our Core Values at Whitefield – Commitment to Inclusion, Equality, and Respect under French Law
Accessibility and Inclusion of People with Disabilities in the French Legal Profession
At Whitefield, inclusion is at the heart of our concerns. We are convinced that an open and accessible work environment is a source of wealth for our firm and our clients. That is why we ensure full accessibility for people with disabilities, whether it concerns physical access to our offices or adaptation of our work tools (hardware, software, etc.).
We ensure that all our collaborators, regardless of disability, have equal opportunities for career progression and professional development within the firm. Our recruitment, integration, and promotion processes are designed to leave no one behind. We adapt working conditions and organization when necessary, respecting legal standards and fairness.
Respect and dignity for each individual, regardless of differences, are fundamental values for us. We commit to providing an environment where everyone can thrive without obstacles, in an inclusive and respectful workplace.
Non-Discrimination and Equal Opportunity
Respect for the principles of non-discrimination and equal opportunity is central to our professional practices. We firmly commit never to make distinctions among individuals based on gender, origin, skin color, sexual orientation, religion, or any other criterion that could cause discrimination.
During recruitment, we strive to select candidates solely on their skills, experience, and potential. Whitefield aims to demonstrate impartiality by evaluating each person on objective criteria, independent of any subjective consideration.
We deeply believe that diversity in backgrounds, origins, and experiences is a true asset. It fosters more comprehensive legal thinking and better serves the varied needs of our clientele. That is why we actively encourage diversity within our teams and commit to fighting all forms of direct or indirect discrimination.
Fighting Racism and Promoting Equality
Racism has no place in our society, especially not within our firm. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards racism, whether in internal or external interactions. Discriminatory remarks and behaviors, whether overt or subtle, are unacceptable and systematically sanctioned. Our firm is a place where cultural and ethnic diversity is celebrated and respected.
For us, equality among individuals is not only a fundamental principle but also a source of performance and cohesion. We advocate for a work environment where every team member feels valued, respected, and free to express themselves without fear of judgment or marginalization.
In addition to measures ensuring diverse recruitment, we regularly conduct training sessions to raise awareness among all collaborators about the importance of these values and respectful behavior. This includes training on:
- Unconscious bias
- Anti-racist practices
- How to identify and address potential discrimination situations
Respect and Personal Fulfillment in the Professional Environment
Beyond equality and inclusion principles, we pay particular attention to the balance between personal and professional life for each team member. We believe professional success requires a healthy work environment respectful of individual needs. Each member should be able to thrive in a work setting that considers their personal aspirations while enabling them to excel professionally.
The well-being and personal fulfillment of our collaborators are priorities. This is reflected in our ongoing listening to individual needs and expectations, whether concerning schedule adjustments or greater flexibility in task execution. We are convinced that when our team feels respected and understood, they are better equipped to excel and provide the best service to our clients.
A Workplace Conducive to Everyone's Growth
We believe every individual, regardless of origin, background, or disability, deserves an equal chance to succeed and develop. That is why we implement policies and practices that foster personal and professional growth. Our values of respect, diversity, and non-discrimination are shared and enacted by all team members in an open work environment where collaboration and communication are central.
At Whitefield, we are committed to nurturing a culture of kindness where each collaborator can find their place and fully develop their potential, while contributing their unique touch to the firm's collective richness.
These values are not abstract principles for us: they are lived daily in every action and interaction. We believe that cultivating a respectful and inclusive workplace enables us to offer the best to our clients and simultaneously allow each individual to flourish professionally.
